Pendennis Castle civil ceremony photography

Aby and Moya got married at the incredible Pendennis Castle. We spent all day with this great pair, from the getting ready to the first dance, and it was a total pleasure. The ladies arrived and got ready independently, and it was so exciting waiting for the brides to arrive. Two wedding cars, eight bridesmaids and a fab gang of ushers and two fab dresses! every photographers dream wedding!

Both brides looked so lovely and Moya’s sister turned her hand to the hair and makeup and did such a great job!

Pendennis Castle looked incredible in the Cornish Sunshine and the photos are wonderful. Aby and Moya didn’t want much fuss or staged shots, so we wandered the grounds and then went to the coast and let the photography just unfold. We took lots of reportage shots of the guests and really enjoyed documenting this special day.

The love between Aby and Moya and their families was lovely. The Dads speeches had everyone in tears, it was an emotionally charged day, until the party started, the speeches ended with the line “Tick-Tock its shot o’clock” and shots were poured for all the guests and we took everyone out onto the rugby grounds where the reception was being held and got some great action shots from these rugby loving families!

Fish and chips were served from a chip van and ice ream with do your own flakes and sprinkles, great relaxed wedding fodder, that went down a treat with all the guests.

A fun wedding filled with wonderful people, thank you for letting us share it with you.
