What an amazing way to spend a Friday afternoon. The sun shone for Carol and Barry’s wedding day and The Carbis Bay Hotel looked amazing, the beach incredible, and the service room stunning, but nothing on how beautiful Carol looked as she walked down the aisle. I loved Carol’s dress, it was perfect and teamed with a organza stole that set it off beautifully.
Barry and Carol met with us before the wedding day and wanted the wedding captured in a journalist style. It was a pleasure to spend the afternoon photographing this lovely bunch of people, everyone so friendly and such fun, it was delightful.
I love reportage photography capturing the moment and being in the right place at the right time. . The guests spilled out onto the lawns of the hotel and prosecco and canapes were served. The atmosphere was relaxed and lighthearted, everyone enjoying the view of the sea and the company.
We went to the beach, just a stones throw away from the hotel, and Barry came into his own, he made us laugh from beginning to end, what a fantastic guy, his finale was running into the sea, trousers rolled up, only to be hit by a wave, that rose higher than the trousers were rolled up! It didn’t worry this groom, it was all about the fun!
I loved the elegance of this wedding, the Carbis bay Hotel was the perfect venue for this. The room dressed with silver balloons and the wedding cake made of the finest Cornish Cheeses.
Thank you Barry and Carol for the perfect working day for us.
We hope you enjoy this small taster of your photographs. xxx
