We are always amazed at Kiss just how well treated we are by our brides and grooms, but yesterdays wedding Sigi and Gavin made us feel like family. What a lovely couple, with a lovely family and fantastic friends.
The Bridal preparation started off at a beautiful house in St.Ives that this couple from Austria hired for the week. It was all so relaxed, bride and groom, friends and children all getting ready together. Then Sigi and her bridesmaids wandered to The Harbour Hotel where the service and meal would take place. Sigi laughed and chatted to us all she was so relaxed and Gavin, her groom to be, looking fabulous in his Welsh tartan, had a few beers with the boys in The Harbour Hotel bar.
Sigi looked incredible in her bohemian style dress with a ring of flowers in her hair, she held a seaside theme bouquet and this adorable theme ran throughout the wedding.
Sigi and Gaven’s wanted to create a chilled out wedding, relaxed and happy. A big party filled with family and friends and they achieved just this. I think a lot of this was down to this gorgeous pair and how they just floated through the day, having fun, giving everyone some of their time and enjoying and savoring every moment.
I think all their guests pretty much made it to the beach, and we all just walked down together. After a really fun photoshoot, everyone went to the Porthminister Beach Cafe bar and ordered a beer and the guests hung out for a bit watching the ocean.
The St ives Harbour Hotel dressed the room beautifully and Sigi and Gavin had a great idea – all guests where given a little square of a painting to copy. All together it made a whole painting that everyone had taken part in. It was really unique and fun!
We are looking forward to seeing the video from Plan9Video just to relive some of this amazing day.
Thank you both for a perfect day, its a wonderful job we have and we are privileged to be such a big part of such special days, but you two made our job just that little bit more perfect, if that’s at all possible. You were great, enjoy the rest of your week in beautiful St.Ives and we do hope you love the little taster of what you see here. XXX
