Lucy married her lifelong love yesterday, Jamie, at The Carbis Bay Hotel and this is their full wedding story.
The morning was a totally chilled affair, Lucy, her sisters and her soon to be sister-in-laws and niece all getting ready together at the hotel. What a total pleasure to be with such a lovely family. Lucy’s mum was there to help with the dress and the flower girls and the morning was filled with lots of giggles and champagne.
The boys arrived in style in Lola a magnificent split-screen vintage Strawberry leisure camper, a total surprise for the groom from his soon wife to be.
Carbis Bay Hotel as always pulled out all the stops and the room looked divine thanks to Maxine the wedding coordinator’s magic that she works, and beautiful flowers by blooming buds and bows. We Fell in love with the very on trend flower balls that hung from the chairs and the ceiling.
All this prettiness still couldn’t compare to Lucy, who totally wowed us all in her stunning dress and her beautiful smile. She lit up the whole room when she entered on her proud Dad’s arm and we captured the smiles and the tears and the laughter.
Even through Carbis Bay was blessed with four seasons in one day, this didn’t stop the whole wedding party heading to the beach for photos, we battled high winds and rain, but the beach was empty, the sand looked untouched and we absolutely love the results.
This fun loving pair had amazing speeches, and filled the room with laughter, and then the lovely Jamie surprised his bride with a massive gift box that when she opened it written were the words ” we are going to Vagus” Lucy’s reaction was amazing.
The evening was filled with sparklers and fireworks and then it was time for the cameras to disappear and the party continue.
