I am really excited about this week.
Firstly the sun shone today, so we managed to get the spring daffodil shoot done. A little girl running through fields of daffodils was a delight to see. Her baby sister sat amongst the flowers and we managed to stop her eating them. I have been been so very excited about this shoot and was concerned the daffs would die before we got enough sunshine. The photos are so very beautiful.
Then we are at The Carbis bay Hotel for a intimate wedding, consisting of just two people, the bride and groom. How very romantic and special. We have shot lots of small weddings, and I love the specialness of just a few people being involved. There’s something quite lovely standing in a small room, watching a service and being part of something so amazing, with just a select few.
The the next day its off to Tregenna Castle for a spring extravaganza of flowers and maypoles, clapboard dolly’s and camper vans and vintage cars. This wedding has had so much attention to detail with such an element of fun, the guests are going to be amazed and we are there to capture all the fun.
As I have said before, for me, my spring starts on the 1st of may, and the fact that i even get to see maypole dancing, is like a dream job come true. Roll on summer!
