We had a busy morning yesterday.
The lovely Rachel and Baig were getting married at The Sacred heart church in St.Ives and then onto Tregenna Castle for the reception.
We both went to Tregenna and Ricky joined the bride and her 7 bridesmaids, while I got some shots of the grounds and hotel, while all was peaceful. I left Ricky to the bustle of the preparations and I drove back into town to get some beautiful shots of the church. I also knew the groom and his best men were making an early appearance.
I love getting to a church before a wedding, Father Dyson was putting out the flower arrangements, there was an air of calm, and it was so peaceful. I got some beautiful photographs that will be perfect detail shots.
Baig and his best men, Sam and Will and a group of Ushers arrived and I spent some time with them getting in the not nervous groom photographs. He was so chilled out!
Guests started arriving and very soon the church was full, to the brim, not a spare seat in the house. A lovely service , then we went to the beach, and the sun shone for us, after quite a drizzly morning. Rachel looked absolutely gorgeous, I loved her dress! it was big and beautiful, with silk roses. her bridesmaids with there grey silk dresses and pink silk roses in there hair looked incredible alongside her. A beautiful bridal party. Roses were the flower of the day and the white chocolate cake had fresh pink and cream roses on it. The white birdcages on the tables had pink roses in them and candles. it was such a pretty wedding.
We managed to get all the photographs outside as well as the beach, so we were happy. A truly lovely day had by all. The first dance was a hit guys! We liked!
Baig and Rachel, we left your wedding feeling like we had had a wonderful time, so you must have been over the moon with your day. May your married life together be as sweet as you both are! congratulations!
