A wet but wonderful wedding at The Carbis Bay Hotel

It is quite rare to have a day when the rain comes and does not relent. But Friday was one of those days. Lindsay and Luke travelled down form Burton-On-Trent to be married at the stunning Carbis Bay Hotel with an intimate gathering of friends and family. Even though the weather was against them all day it did not seem to faze them at all. They were just so happy to be getting married and they really were in love and it so showed!
I met up with Lindsay in the bridal suite accompanied by her best friend Charlotte (who was thoroughly amazing and really what every bride needs on her wedding day!) whilst down in the bar Luke was busy greeting guests and sharing a moment with his friends.
Nicole and Maxine were transforming the Godrevy room into a magnificent ceremony room and the scene was set.
After the ceremony the guests had drinks in the conservatory and then we jumped into a golf cart and sped down to the (totally deserted) beach for a photoshoot. I had a couple of helpers that had the sole job of removing the umbrella and giving it swiftly back to the Lindsay and Luke. As expected the pictures were great and the couple were not precious about anything so despite the weather they will have a memory of a Cornish beach forever. Thankyou for letting me be part of this day and good luck to you both.
