This is such a special time of year and we have had some beautiful photography moments.
My highlight was the photos taken at our three year-old’s nativity play, some so touching they bring a tear to your eye, and some are so very funny!
Our annual kids Christmas card photo was great fun to do, and the girls loved dressing up in there tutus!
Then the Carbis Bay Hotel, looking stunning for the Christmas festivities, we worked on photographs for next years brochure, and if we get more snow, we will go back and take some more with snow on the ground.
The restaurant work is always lovely and the of course the suppers cant be passed onto customers, so the sampling is always fun!
I have had fun designing a family album for my mothers Christmas present, even though I had to sift through 12,000 photos ( I kid you not), it took an age, but most of the time was me saying ” arhhhhhhhhhh’ and ” oh my goodness I forgot about that’. It made me once again realise just how very precious photographs are, how they capture a moment, a time a feeling, that has past and will never come back, but its still there to look at, remember and cry over ( i am terrible for that, especially of the new born ones of our little ones!)
Another wonderful thing happened as well, our wedding photos that i thought we lost in the move, were found ( a whole seven years later!) back in the dark ages of film photography, you couldn’t get the all important Hi-Res disc, so I had another moment of ” arrrrhhhhhhh’ then a bit of a ” hummmmmmm, I wish Kiss Photography could have taken the photos!’ but hey, it would have been strange to be our own photographers!
