I couldn’t believe Laura was the first of the three grown up kids to be wed, as it was like a wedding had taken place at her parents place a hundred times before. OK, one bedroom turned into a beauty parlour, sister Erin ( a beautician and bridesmaid) all made up, nails done, hair done, just putting the finishing touches to Laura the bride. three little bridesmaids, nails done, hair almost done, excited, looking cute and perfectly behaved, Dad almost ready, Mums bedroom, dresses laid out, everything on white sheets, ready to photograph, everything running to a time table, arrival of pageboy etc, and everything running on time… WOW! amazing!
What a truly lovely family, it was a pleasure to spend the morning with them all.
We then went to the church, where Daren, his “men’ and his lovely lad were waiting, and got the ‘guys’ photographed.
Laura arrived, a true fairy tail princess, her dress was what wedding dreams are made of and she looked incredible in it. Her sister in a raspberry pink fitted dress added the vibrant colour ( and looked beautiful too) along with the amazing flowers including hot pink gerberas, gloryiosa, and lime green bells of Ireland.
In a 1930’s car, roof down playing the Charleston they zoomed off to Porth beach to have some photographs of them and Darren’s wonderful children. ( who I have to add were a joy… all day and into the evening, perfect kids!)
The couple then met their guests again at the amazing Glendorgal Hotel, with its stunning views and lovely classy new interior, and the food and party began.
The speeches had everyone in tears, the guests had a wonderful day, and Darren and Laura just shone. A wonderful couple that are going to be so happy together forever, match made in heaven…. oh I know so!!!
We had a lovely day and evening, and I have to say the photos… just wonderful! a sneaky taster below!
