A wedding, a VW camper Van ( supplied by Cornwall VW Wedding hire ) , a massive amount of planning around beaches and tide times, reception venue with full length windows of the beach and YES YES YES the sun did shine on Natassja and Luke. Thank goodness for that, it was touch and go in the morning, but this wedding needed and called out for a sunny day and we got it!

We met this lovely couple some time ago, and they wanted a lovely relaxed wedding to suit their chosen venue, the Sand Bar and to suit them. They tied the knot at their local church in Newlyn, where Natassja’s parents and her Grandparents got married. Her Granny was there and i had I lovely chat with her about her wedding day.

We had decided to go to Carbis Bay Beach as the tide would still be quite high at Praa Sands and they so desperately wanted on the sand shots.

The sun shone when we got there and the photos are quite something.

After we followed there shiny red camper to The Sand Bar, and the fun began. Luke and Natassja so wanted a group shot on the beach at their venue, the tide was high and wild but there was a strip of sand, we double checked with them, the answer was go for it, and it was a race against time before we lost all the beach all together. We have never got a group of 60 or so people together so quickly and thank goodness we did as the sea came in Natassja jumped ( yes jumped in her amazing dress with hoop) onto a rock to miss the wave, there were a few ( well a lot) of wet trousers and lots and lots of laughter, and it kind of set the scene for the beach party the wedding was going to be.

The Sand Bar looked amazing as a wedding venue, lots of garlands and bunting and pink lanterns. Natassja looked stunning in her oyster dress with long veil and train and Luke in his Cornish Tartan.. ideal!

Lovely pretty and wild weather wedding, thanks guys!
