We met this lovely couple last year, and just clicked they were easy-going and great fun. Jo was amazing this morning, she enjoyed the whole getting ready with her mum and best friend whilst her Dad popped in and out. She was chilled, sweet and not really believing she was getting married! She said she felt like a little girl again dressing up, I loved that line. But the moment came, and Jo, in the dress of all dresses, emerged from Tregenna Castle, into glorious sunshine with her white Rolls Royce waiting, really did suddenly feel like a bride on her way, she certainly looked it, absolutely stunning.
Ricky had met up with Zak and the lads at The Badger Inn, for a swift photoshoot, and maybe a pint, and then they wandered to St.Uny Church in Lelant.
Everything was running perfectly on time and Jo arrived as the clock struck the half hour. St.Uny church looked beautiful as always, and the pews were full to the rafters. Rev. Tony did an amazing, very personal service and we got some beautiful shots.
Jo and Zak before greeting their guests at Tregenna Castle where the reception was to be held wanted to go to Porthminister beach. I was surprised how empty it looked as we pulled up, when we arrived on the sand, we realised why so many had chosen not to be sunbathing, it was the windiest I had ever known it. Ricky ran around trying to find a calm spot, there wasn’t one, so we went for it. Jo and Zak were happy to get their beachy photographs they so wanted, but I did honestly think at one point Jo was going to be blown away. It was wild and so are the pictures, dramatic and very amazing.
Back at Tregenna Castle, where the weather was calmer, we continued our photography and Jo was kept firmly on the ground!
A truly lovely day, amazing speeches, lovely family and friends, and thank you to Jo and Zak for being so very easy going and good fun and we know you are going to have an amazing life ahead of you.
