Kay married Shane today, and this couple just rocked !

What can I say about them? Kay is such a fun, lovely, bubbly lady and so pretty she really looked amazing and to top it all off is a fantastic Mum. Shane is the kind of lad who makes everyone around him smile, totally in love with Kay and his wonderful daughter Jorgie, he is chilled out to the max. The result? One perfect wedding!

We went everywhere today, we started off the day in two houses in Helston, getting what was going on, the brides house a buzz of girls getting ready, friends popping round with gifts and wishes of love, champagne being drunk, Jorgie trying on shoes , hers and her mums, and general excitement. Shanes… well not a lot ! a last minute dash, but hey thats normal in a house of hungover boys getting ready for a wedding ! They still got to Pendennis Castle on time , loaded with cider and pasties for the guests, so all was good !

The beautiful candle lit service was at Pendennis Castle , an amazing Cornish location to tie the knot, then onto he St.Ives Harbour Hotel for drinks, beach photos and lots of food and dancing.

It was a day of buzzing excitement, there were buses and taxis ferrying all the guests around, the bride and groom looked great in Beauford 1930’s style 4 door open top tourer from Nicky at Treverbyne Cars! We did a castle, a beach and a hotel shoot. We had the shot list of all shots lists, and it was a mission against weather and time, but we got there and the gorgeous Kay and Shane smiled throughout and where just so easy going and relaxed, they just made our day!The day was also followed by dove films, and I am so glad, as the speeches were brilliant, and needed to be filmed !

I must mention the ushers and Best Man, as to be honest, as a rule , its wear a nice suit, give out an order of service and job done… oh a pose for a photo. These guys were AMAZING, they did the above, but the served drinks at Pendennis Castle, ( in two locations, thanks to howling winds )  they cleaned up, they rounded up guests for photos, they carried cool boxes of drinks and pasties, and glasses from location to location to keep the guest’s going. They were there for the bride and groom throughout and they did a fantastic job! Kay and Shane, you have some lovely friends, which is of course a reflection on you both !

Kay and Shane and Jorgie, your wedding was fantastic, thank you to The Harbour Hotel as well for looking after us, and to Kay and Shane. The photos are amazing, and we loved being witness to your day.
