There is something really special following a bride and groom right from the beginning of their day. I always feel it’s when, as photographers, we really get to know the couple. I love this time, the friends popping round, the hustle and bustle of the preparations, the excitement, the emotions. I love capturing it all.
On Saturday Kiera married Dean at Trelothan Church and onto Penventon Hotel for the reception.
Our day started at Kiera and Deans house, where the ladies where getting ready. Kiera was amazing the morning of her wedding, lacing up dresses, giving directions to lost florists, running errands, pouring drinks. She really didn’t stop the whole time we were there. A kind, lovely wonderful lady, a pleasure to be with. Ricky went to Dean’s best mans house up the road, and the boys were all running on time and raring to go. Great fun and looking very smart.
Time flies on a wedding morning, so when all the 7 bridesmaids were ready, Kiera nipped upstairs and in moments she was ready, as she entered the room, their were smiles, whoops and tears. Amazing and looking totally beautiful? ; absolutely !
The service was touching and personal, it was hard to gage the weather, so we decided that while it was dry we would get as many photos done as possible in the picturesque church grounds. Dean had us all laughing from the moment the serious bit was over, his two best men and ushers, all strapping rugby lads didn’t need asking twice to lift up the dainty Kiera, but we weren’t expecting them to throw her into the air !
The fabulous orange colours that was worn by the bridesmaids added a vibrant splash of colours to the day, and was wonderful. There was also orange Gerberas alongside white roses, which worked wonderfully with Kiera’s gorgeous white dress.
The Penventon Park Hotel was the ideal venue for the ice cream cart that was serving the guests prior to the meal, and the rain held off until it was time for the guests to go in to eat. And as a added bonus we got some fantastic photographs in the Penventons gardens, when the early evening sun re-appeared !
The whole day went off so wonderfully. The Penventon with their host of staff run everything so very perfectly. Dean and Kiera were such a pleasure to be with, they made us laugh, they were easy going and just so very, very nice . Thank you guys!
Dean and Kiera, we will be touch very soon with your photographs, I know you will enjoy re-living your day by looking at them. Congratulations once again, wishing you all the love in the world.
