Carbis Bay Hotel Wedding

We have a bit of a reputation….. ! for our blue skies and sunny weddings, and if you are a follower of our work you may well agree, and when you see these photographs you wont believe it !

February, the sun shone and the skies were blue for this totally gorgeous couple Jane and Phil.

The venue for the service and the party was the Carbis Bay Hotel. Jane arrived the night before and was getting ready with her lovely bridesmaids. She looked fantastic in her beaded bias cut dress and long veil. Phil arrived on his motorbike, that was a big part of the reason they met and the weather meant that he could do a burn out by the beach, which is what he did while Jane watched from the window.
Before the service Jane and Phil had decided to on having a first glance on the beach. Phil stood gazing out to sea and Jane walked up behind him and as much as it was important to get these shots we soon stood back and let them have a special moment together before they then walked in separately.

The service was lovely, the back doors to the sea flung open, the singer set the perfect mood and afterwards cocktails were served on the lawn, yes it was that sunny! Everyone wandered down to the beach and we even got Jane on the back of phil’s bike. High tea was served with vintage tea cups and planted teapots with the mostly beautiful pastel spring flowers. So much thought had gone into all the little touches and the room looked divine ! It was such a pretty wedding for a very pretty bride.

Carbis Bay hotel with the fantastic Victoria co-coordinating the wedding did an amazing job and as always it was a pleasure to work there.

Phil and Jane are going to have the happiest of lives together and we would like to wish them all the best.
