Sarah Jane came home from Australia to marry Sean in her home town of Penzance. They chose to have their blessing in the most amazing Tredavoe Chapel and their reception in The St Ives Harbour Hotel.
We were at Sarah Jane’s house with her friends, sisters and Mum and it was a lovely relaxed morning with hair and make-up being done, nail varnish being applied and champagne being drunk. It was just lovely, the girls just catching up over smoked salmon and scrambled egg and everything running on time. Sarah Jane looked absolutely stunning in her beaded dress and veil with the fantastic train. The bridesmaids fantastic in burnt orange and Sarah Jane’s mum in cream and navy. Such a pretty wedding. The service was one of the best, the words perfect and so intimate and meaningful.
The weather wasn’t kind but it did stop raining for five minutes and we went to Porthminister beach in St.Ives and got some absolutely beautiful shots of this lovely couple. The beach was clear of people and the sand untouched. I am so glad we got this moment, St.Ives in all its beautiful Cornish glory.
The wedding had some lovely touches, Sarah Jane’s sister made the fantastic wedding cake and favours, her friend did her hair, the tables were named after Australian beaches in honour of Sean’s roots. And the room looked stunning, lit candles and roses everywhere, so romantic.
A group of Sean and Sarah Jane’s friends came over from Australia for this couples special day, which was so lovely (and such a journey!! ) and I a sure made the day even more perfect.
I am sure you will agree that this couple looked incredible and we wish them all the very best and all the love in the world, this is just the start of a very exciting year for them.
