Yesterday The Queen of England came to St.Ives, The Porthminister Beach Cafe launched its book, the St.Ives food festival was getting ready to start AND Jacqui and Torq got hitched at Tregenna Castle! What a Friday!
Jacqui, the beautiful bride with an amazing dress, wonderful shoes and just so easy going, was just blissful to spend the morning with. Everything was running on time and yet not a timetable to be seen, it just all ticked along perfectly. The boys were having a laugh in the bar and getting some good shots with Ricky. In fact I have decided that the boys jumping has to be the best jumping shot I have ever seen! (so it’s been blogged)
The room with its tasteful sage greens, spring greens and creams looked stunning. The sent of freshly cut freesias filled the air. Lizi at Wheal Sara was the florist and they were stunning.
Yes it did rain, but we are never deterred, the service was held in Tregenna Castles Godrivy room and we decided to go with the weather, which in fact did clear up after the meal and we took the bride and groom down to the empty beach at 6pm, the light was incredible, the cloud formation wonderful and we got some great shots.
A impromptu photo shoot then took place in the Tregenna grounds early evening, by which point a vast amount of champagne had been drunk and a new dimension to fun friends shots was executed; brilliant!
We had a great day with these town lovely people, their wonderful family and friends, thank you very much Jacqui and Torq!
