Another beautiful wedding! Yesterday Kiss Photography travelled to Sithney in Helston to meet up with bride Abby and her family who were staying at her Aunties house. What a lovely place to start your wedding preparations, a beautiful farm house with a stunning gardens and old barns. A house filled with children and bridesmaid’s and lots and lots of other family members. There were fantastic photo opportunities, and we photographed it very reportage, nothing posed, just as it happened.
The church service was at The Parish Church of St.Michaels and the service was lovely. The bride and her bridesmaid arrived in two amazing camper vans supplied by Cornwall VW Campers, one red and one cream.
Abby looked a million dollars, her tulle dress with bodice was perfect, teamed with a fantastic veil and fucshia gerberas she looked the perfect bride. The bridesmaids all looked amazing too, what a very gorgeous bridal party they made. Abby’s Dad wore traditional Cornish Tartan and the lads morning suits with fuchsia cravats.
After the church service there was the most amount of confetti I have ever seen and Abby and Alex took a lovely moment talking to all their guests and mingling. Then as requested by the bride we stole away for a photoshoot en route, and chose a lovely county lane, which was a lovely contrast to the beach shots that we were going to have.
It was back to St.Ives then for us at Kiss Photography, alongside plan9 video as the wedding reception was at The Harbour Hotel. The guests enjoyed canapés and raspberry Bellini’s while we got through the group shots. The wedding breakfast was then served giving us a couple of hours to set up our photo-booth which was part of the evening entertainment.
Then it was off to Porthminister beach for some really fun photography with Abby and Alex and their guests, Abby paddled in the sea, the guests where jumping, running, even balancing pints on their heads at one point. It was a really fun evening and we had the whole beach to ourselves, amazing for this time of year.
The party had began by the time we had got back and Abby and Alex hit the dance floor, the guests raided our dressing up box and there were women with moustaches, Mums and Dads in feather boas, lots of crazy glasses and some very strange hats replaced the lovely wedding hats! The photos are a scream, but we are keeping most of the photo-booth ones for the couples eyes only as they are pretty wild!
What a fun wedding, thank you Abby and Alex the whole day was a massive party, how it should be. We hope you enjoy these snippets of photos, there are a lot lot lot more to come and I know you are going to just love re-living your perfect wedding day! X
