Yesterday Kary married Gaz in St.Uny church in Lelant, St.Ives.
A absolutely fantastic day was had by all, but it really wouldn’t have been anything else with this perfect, fun, lovely couple on board.
I have blogged photos that capture the real essence of their wedding day, as I feel that is what this day was all about. It was a day of fun, family and very, very good friends. It was a day that was all about the love and laughter, a day that truly captured my heart and made me feel very honoured to be there to photograph it all. (It was also all about the champagne….. but that just added to the laughter really!)
When you look through these blog photos you will see a stunning bride who just shone! She looked amazing and she smiled all day. I love the photo of her and her Dad pouring champagne in the garden and giggling at each other. I love her little boy Riley’s face when he saw the vintage bus turn up at the church. The photo of them strolling down the church pathway, moment before Kary was to become a Mrs is just a fantastic relaxed family moment captured forever. The moments in the church ( which I must congratulate ourselves on as the vicar said she didn’t want to see us “AT ALL!” until the end!, were still captured and most lovely. And our ability to become invisible was none less than a miracle itself! )
The beach photos were stunning and some were just mad! Riley was a massive part of this lovely couples day and we got some gorgeous shots of him being fabulous Riley.
The reception was a Tricky’s in Redruth and what a great wedding reception venue! Kary, her sister and Gaz (plus loads of other family members I am sure) had spent the day before getting the room ready. It was festooned with bunting, tealights, jam jars with flowers, it was super. The welcome cocktails were served in jam jars amd I LOVED the country look and feel, and they looked super. They even had a tree in the middle of the room filled with paper hanging hearts and tealights. The attention to detail was incredible and Kary (and Gaz of course) had a wonderful way of combining the vintage and yet keeping it all so modern ( the bridesmaid shoes! check them out!)
The food served was again so stylish, antipasto on slate, taster desserts. A real treat for the guests.
All too soon the day was drawing to a close, the speeches had been done, the laughter continued and the first dance was danced. It was time for us to leave these lovely people to boogie the night away.
So here’s to Gaz, the most relaxed groom in the world, and the simply gorgeous Kary. Wishing you a happy life together, lots of love Jenny and Ricky at Kiss Photography x
