This wedding was so so so much fun to photograph and be part of. Natalie and James are two of the nicest people you could hope to meet and we at Kiss Photography were honoured to be asked to be the wedding photographers on their special day.
We arrived at bridal prep time and had a lovely morning with Natalie and her friends getting ready at The St Ives Harbour Hotel, the sun was shinning and the room was filled with Natalie’s nearest and dearest. We caught the many thoughtful details that make the day, the pile of Tiffany boxes, the perfume Natalie wore, the shoes. And also the little details that were a nod to the Navy that James is serving in. We also got to capture the laughter from all the friends and the father of the bride seeing his little girl as a bride about to be given away to the man of her dreams, a massive moment for any Dad.
We got James and his friends and caught them mid dance preforming their Marioke (filmed by Dove Films)
The service was lovely, the proud looks on the parents faces was a treat to photograph Natalie looked incredible in her amazing dress.
Lola the campervan ( Strawberry Leisure) was booked to take the couple to the beach for fun and very non serious group shots, and Joel and Alex from Dove films were there to grab a few song lines, which made us all laugh even more and just added more smiles to everyone’s faces.
Our Kiss Photography photobooth was booked for after the meal and the amazing Tiffany inspired wedding cake by Cakes by Design was cut and the cupcakes handed out. A band rocked up to get the party going and the dance floor went wild. They finished with a version of “What Shall We Do With The Drunken Sailor” and with the Navy presence in the room the dance floor was filled with lots of crazy dancing and more smiles.
I loved this wedding with these two gorgeous people and I love the happy photos. Natalie and James you will always be happy together because you are so very great! lots of love! x
