Ecuador, meets Italy with a touch of London thrown in. This was the amazing marriage of Karen and Salvatore.
I loved all the elements of each families traditions and roots that were part of this amazing day.
The wedding service took place in The Carbis Bay Hotel Beach Shack, the latest addition to the wedding scene in Carbis Bay. Situated right on the beach with uninterrupted views across the sand and the ocean, you can’t legally get wed anywhere closer to the sea here in Cornwall.
Every wedding has a special moment for me, something that stands out, sometimes its a moment, a look I capture, sometimes its the perfection of the shot, sometimes its something larger than life that happens, or a reading, a song, a dance. Mostly I don’t even mention it in our blogs as its something that stood out just to me, but the moment of this wedding I need to share.
As Karen the gorgeous bride her bridal party and parents led the way. As each person entered the beach shack the guest clapped and cheered, not half heartily, it was each and every guest, the cheering was filled with joy and laughter, love and happiness. And as the bride approached the cheering was amazing. I so loved this, this is what a wedding should be like, the happiest occasion ever and I was so happy to be there to witness it.
Karen looked amazing in her lace dress and veil, the bridesmaids in coral looked a picture and the flowers stunning. Sav in a crisp blue, very stylish suit looked so smart, what a chic pair these two made!
I loved the vows they pledged to each other, the promises so very honest and sweet.
After the moving service, the food flowed as did the champagne. We were only steps from the beach so we made the most of our beautiful location and used it to the max. The wedding breakfast was held in the main hotel room and it looked just stunning. And not long after that while the staff circulated with chocolate covered ice cream canapes, a cream tea was held on the lawns. Could the day get any more perfect? we drove into St.Ives town to the Island for another photoshoot to get a different aspect of wedding photography and then Sav and Karen really wanted to get on the dance floor… and so they did along with their 160 people strong wedding guests to a Salsa band from London that rocked the dance floor! it was incredible and the dancing was spot on!
There is so much more I can add, fireworks, love songs sung, traditional garter dances, a love story on film, but I am hoping you could get a peak on a blog from Dove Films maybe? Joel was there covering everything along with us.
