Oh no! its raining cats and dogs and I have four little girls that need photographing on Porthminister beach. Wellies and umbrellas are cute as well though…… Fi and Rob, so glad you are thrilled with the wedding album, I must say wedding photography at Tregenna Castle does provide the perfect backdrop, and the fact we got the whole wedding party down to Porthminister beach as well. I know the album will provide many a happy evening, flicking through remembering your day, because I must say every time I look at your pictures I smile! Sandra and Matt, thanks for passing on ourView full post »

Just come home from The Cornish Bride Wedding fair at The Falmouth Hotel with a lovely warm glow. We had so many fantastic comments about our work, so many wonderful things said about our layouts and wedding album designs and came home to a very full in-box of date inquiries and brides that are going to pop over with grooms now in tow. Thank you all, and we are so happy all our hard work has paid off and you are all loving what we do! I am now busy sorting out the 2012 dates thrown my way today, and its going to  be a wonderful but busy summer.View full post »

A wonderful wedding day with Clare and Allan and there family and friends at The Carbis Bay Hotel. Clare, the most relaxed bride in the whole wide world, had a lovely morning getting ready with her sister, Mum and Dad, I had a lovely time pottering about getting the bridal preparation shots. Clare looked so pretty in her bias cut dress and wearing her Mums wedding veil, just like her sister did was such a lovely touch. The service was lovely and then the sun shone so we were able to go to the beach, much to the delight of the children in the wedding aprty. The suits were flung off ( the kids,View full post »

We are just loving this fantastic September weather we are having. There may be a slight nip in the air, but the sun is perfect. The light is amazing and we feel that our photographs are just incredible. Theres something about a September sky, just the right amount of cloud to make an interesting backdrop, and yet the sun is making the sea sparkle. Now it better last we are off to The Carbis Bay Hotel on Thursday to photograph another wedding!View full post »

Lorna and Johnathan, The Carbis Bay Hotel, Mum and Dad, brothers, sister and there wonderful children, and a fantastic afternoon. Lorna called me up last winter and we got on fantastically on the phone. She’s bubbly, friendly and just lovely, so of course her wedding day would reflect just that, and it did. Johnathan and Lorna and their two boys Zack and Ned were fun and so very cute!. I was there as Lorna walked down the stairs, she looked stunning, and was full of emotion. Ned went running over to her and flung himself at her and they sat on the stairs cuddling. As a photographer,View full post »

Its all about love this week. Kingsley Village wedding fair was a massive success, and the bookings are flooding in for next year. We are meeting brides on a daily basis, and still shooting weddings, next stop The Lovely Carbis Bay Hotel tomorrow. I feel as if our feet aren’t touching the ground!  September is always busy, but this September we haven’t stopped. We also had the lovely Benjamin Bird, London pianist come down for a photoshoot. It poured with rain non stop that day, the amazing beach shots that were planned, happened, but not quite as we pictured them. Victoria at TheView full post »

The amazing Scarlet Hotel, a very ,very special wedding venue for a beautiful intimate classy wedding. Sandra and Mathew, it was a pleasure to be part of your day. A lovely service in the cool sophisticated surroundings, started the afternoon. Afterward the guests sipped champagne and ate amazing ‘petite tapas.’ Then it was off to the beach for a paddle, ring-of roses… and a dance! yes the champagne had flowed and everyone was in the mood for fun! The Scarlet Hotel is a dream to photograph a wedding at, Sandra and Mathew are such wonderful, relaxed, happy fun people,  and soView full post »

Just got home form yet another amazing wedding Jenna and Lloyd. We started off the day at Jenna’s parents house, with her bridesmaids, everybody getting ready, it was lovely. Jenna left the house looking a million dollars, a true princess, just like her lovely Dad said in the speech. The church service was just wonderful and so relaxed. ( Lloyd had HELP written on the bottom of his shoes, that produced a good snigger throughout the guests!) He didn’t need help though, I think that was the joke, as Jenna and he were the perfect match… it was mentioned in the speeches, it wasView full post »
