All wedding’s, even if at the same venue are different. Every bride and groom adds a little something to their day and makes it their very own. On Saturday we were at Carly and Shayne’s special day at Rose-In-Vale. I was so excited by this wedding, Ricky had done a recce of the venue a few weeks before as it was a first for us, and confirmed I would just love it! When I arrived I think I fell in love. I will set the scene; A small manor house ( I later found out it was old tin minors cottages converted.. lucky ole’ tin minors I say!) with a huge drive way, a bubbling streamView full post »

Today Dave married Bridie. A wonderful intimate service with just Bridie, Dave and his daughter, her partner and their daughter; Grace. It was just so very romantic. Dave adores Bridie, and the looks of love he gave her just said it all. Bridie is a lovely lady, fun and so very photogenic and just smiled at her new husband all afternoon. She wore a beautiful silk devoire bias cut dress, in soft muted grey-blues and pinks, quite lovely! We had a fun afternoon with the family and got some wonderful happy laughing shots, and I must add; Nikki, you are beautiful, I don’t know why you hateView full post »

Yesterday was an amazing day of firsts for a lot of people. Elizabeth married Adrien at Penzance Baptist Church. A fantastic white building in the heart of Penzance. It was John the ministers first ever wedding, and the service was lovely, John was very kind and easy going with photography, he knew the service meant a lot to the couple and they so wanted the memories of the whole day. Plan9 video joined us too. Another first was the bilingual service (and speeches). Adrien is french and a lot of his friends and family didn’t speak English, so there was an translator throughout theView full post »

Fay and Andrew tied the knot! The sun shone down on the lovely bride and groom on Saturday. The church yard was bathed in sunlight and fay looking amazing in her white dress, veil and train, and Andrew looked so smart. After the church we drove to The Green Bank Hotel. What a wonderful location for a wedding. The stylish bar leading out onto the sun terrace, and everything overlooking the sea. The reception room were the bride and groom were dining, looked so elegant. Pure crisp whites, light, airy and  just quite lovely. We spent a lovely afternoon with Fay and Andrew, everything went toView full post »

OK so today words fail me, gobsmacked and quite amazed…. We only met the bride and groom Kate and Dave a few days ago, it was at The Carbis Bay Hotel, they had laps tops, phones ringing, paperwork out, they had come down from Bristol and were getting everything finalised for their wedding  at the hotel. We ran through what we needed to do, it was all professional, and quite serious….. but today the true colours shone through… I have two words  (human pyramid)  I still cant believe that Kate, in her beautiful fitted wedding dress, with train, made the decision to be the topView full post »

Something old…… something new……… on Saturday we worked at a new venue for us. Which is always lovely, its a bit different, it’s a new challenge, ( where are the best spots, what if the weather’s bad), don’t get me wrong, we love our ‘old favorites’ they fit like a glove, but on Saturday we packed up our van and drove to Mullion Cove to the Pollurian Hotel. We had done a recce and knew we were in for a treat, especially as the sun was shining down on us and Cornwall was looking stunning. We met Emma and Brett, the bride and groom lastView full post »
