Emma and Craig got hitched today at Tregenna Castle. We hadn’t met either of them until this morning at bridal prep . The moment we walked into the room I loved Emma, so sweet, so calm, so friendly. Craig, the same, chilled to the max and just a really lovely guy. Emma was surrounded by her friends and loved ones this morning, and it bode well for a really relaxed atmosphere. Emma was so on time, her dress was on over an hour before the service, which meant we got lots of photos of all present and we left 20 mins before hand to give her time with just her Dad and Bridesmaids to relax.View full post »

This week we are working at Tregenna Castle three times! Our first one of the week was today Nicola and Darren. Nicola looked incredible in her dress as she walked down the aisle to meet her lovely groom. The service was lovely, even though the pouring rain did mean it couldn’t be outside as planned. We had very limited time to get everything done and the weather was not playing the game, but we moved sofas, table and chairs and even a grand piano and created a space so we could get the group shots achieved, the whole time hoping that the rain would pass in time, it didn’t, soView full post »

In a circle of trees a beautiful ceremony took place, the naming of three children and the blessing of the older sister, Kia, Levi, Zacceus and Martha. The ground was blessed and cleansed the the children where brought into the circle and then all the children present were invited into the circle. Each child was given his or her name and a crown of flowers where placed on their heads, fresh rose petals were scattered upon them. After the service the ceremony was closed and all present were invited to drum to start the party. An amazing day.View full post »

There is something really special following a bride and groom right from the beginning of their day. I always feel it’s when, as photographers, we really get to know the couple. I love this time, the friends popping round, the hustle and bustle of the preparations, the excitement, the emotions. I love capturing it all. On Saturday Kiera married Dean at Trelothan Church and onto Penventon Hotel for the reception. Our day started at Kiera and Deans house, where the ladies where getting ready. Kiera was amazing the morning of her wedding, lacing up dresses, giving directions to lostView full post »

Kay married Shane today, and this couple just rocked ! What can I say about them? Kay is such a fun, lovely, bubbly lady and so pretty she really looked amazing and to top it all off is a fantastic Mum. Shane is the kind of lad who makes everyone around him smile, totally in love with Kay and his wonderful daughter Jorgie, he is chilled out to the max. The result? One perfect wedding! We went everywhere today, we started off the day in two houses in Helston, getting what was going on, the brides house a buzz of girls getting ready, friends popping round with gifts and wishes of love,View full post »

Today was quite an amazing day. Ricky started his day with Caroline, the bride, at Tregenna Castle, where he saved the day with his zip mending skills, involving  soap and brute force… he’s not JUST a photographer you know !  And I started my day at The Catholic Church in St.Ives with Mark and his men, meeting and greeting. Caroline has a fantastic cream camper van from Cornwall VW wedding hire and a white Morris Minor to transport the bridal party to the church. Another bride to arrive on the dot! Caroline looked absolutely amazing in a princess line dress with a really long veil,View full post »
