Watergate Bay Hotel wedding

When we imagine a Cornish June afternoon we often have images of hazy sunshine and gentle breezes with the sound of lapping seas and seagulls squawking in the distance… well yesterday we were shown the other side of the good old British summertime… The venue was the wonderfully laid back, cool and funky Watergate Bay Hotel. Laura & Ian picked the right venue to reflect their attitude to the day. Nothing seemed to faze them! The lovely Louise and staff helped the day to run super smoothly and the wonderful function room had the most amazing view over the beach. It really is aView full post »

St Ives Harbour Hotel June wedding

Jodie and James, it was a total pleasure to cover your amazing wedding day held at The Harbour Hotel in St.Ives. I loved spending the morning with your nearest and dearest in the hotel room, capturing the fun and calmness! While Rick loved being with boys who maybe weren’t as on time as the ladies …???? We will never know. This beautifully seaside themed wedding complete with wooden seagulls, worked so well with the Harbour Hotel’s amazing beach backdrop. Jodie looked incredible in her ballerina shaped dress. The long veil worked perfectly with the slight breeze we had. SheView full post »

June wedding at The Harbour Hotel

Absolutely honoured to have two beautiful brides today at The St Ives Harbour Hotel marrying. Kayt and Liz what an incredible day, made extra special by you two, being so very relaxed, so very happy and so so  very nice to be around. Thank you! The sun shone for this beautiful pair and Porthminister beach looked amazing, and thanks to the morning of not so lovely weather, the beach was pretty much empty. The service was held, as always overlooking the sea, and it was quite magical. Liz walked down the aisle to join Katyt while their family and friends looked on. The brides held pink roses andView full post »

Tregenna Castle first wedding in June 2017

We absolutely love Tregenna Castle as a wedding venue and Marsha and James were luckily enough to have the perfect weather for an outside wedding. When Marsha walked down the sweeping staircase to her groom I really feel the world stood still for all those guests. I don’t actually think there is a better place to get married outside in the whole of Cornwall. Marsha was a dream bride, lovely, chilled out, she glided through the day and looked so glamorous. Tregenna castle was the wedding photographers dream, pretty jars of flowers lining the aisle, blue skies, white fluffy clouds andView full post »

Harbour Hotel wedding May 2017

Patti and Danny held their wedding at the very stylish St Ives Harbour Hotel the other day. The look seemed to be elegant beauty, from the simple chair covers with a single lace ribbon, tied at the back with a cornflower and a stem of Bouncing Betty (to use the name my Mum always calls them!) to the kilner jars of flowers, through to the naked stylish wedding cake. The final, and most important elegant beauty had to be the bride Patti in her grey fine net pleated skirt and pale grey top, she looked amazing. (Danny looked very cool too, I must add) The beautiful twin baby girls wereView full post »

Rosewarne Manor Wedding

We arrived at the brides Mum’s house on bank holiday Monday and couldn’t have had a warmer welcome. It was a total pleasure to photograph this wedding and spend the day with this amazing pair. Leanne, the bride, was surrounded by her nieces and cousin’s and Mum while she had her hair and make up done. Natasha Flower, it was lovely to work with you once again, and everyone looked beautiful. Leanne had just one request for the photographs of bridal prep and that was to capture the cats, Paddy and Molly. I didn’t need asking twice and soon made two furry friends. LeanneView full post »
