Penmorvah Wedding

Almost a year to the day we met the lovely Sophie and Anthony at a wedding we shot. Anthony was the best man, little did we know one year on we would be photographing their special day. It’s always such an honour to get booked by a couple that have seen you work, and we were so looking forward to capturing this day. We arrived at this gem of a hotel Penmorvah, to see Sophie and her family and to capture some bridal prep. Sophie who was cool and calm, enjoying her morning, wore a elegant dress with a long veil. She looked absolutely incredible.  Her bridesmaids and flower girls woreView full post »

Weddings of the sea

When two Marine biologists meet, fall in love and marry their wedding has to be all about the sea. Belinda and Gav wed at Tregenna Castle, outside in beautiful Cornwall. The colours they chose mimicked the Cornish sea and the bridesmaids wore starfish as their jewellery. The cake was an amazing work of art all about the sea, the flowers followed the sea theme with shells and blues and we went to the beach for photos. Belinda, a natural beauty looked totally incredible in her dress holding her wild bouquet of flowers and we had a lovely photoshoot on Porthminister Beach. I have had to includeView full post »

A totally St.Ives affair!

Mandy and Colin got wed in a totally bespoke style. Their wedding was full of everything they love about St.Ives and it was just perfect. Afterwards the couple wandered to The Guildhall, one of St.Ives iconic buildings to formally seal their wedding vows. But there was still more, a beautiful blessing onView full post »

St.Michael’s Hotel Wedding-Falmouth

Vicky and Ian’s wedding was Cornish through and through, from the Cornish Tartan that Ian wore through to the detail on the cake and place cards. Chocolate pasties and scrumpy adorned the wedding breakfast tables and the gold colour ran through as a colour theme. But to add to the Cornish feel, elements of the beach and seaside was a big feature on this day and it worked beautifully. Star fish and shells were added touches. We loved it! But more than the theme we loved spending the day with Vicky and Ian and their lovely family. What a great couple, Vicky is one of life’s lovelyView full post »

Tregenna Castle’s Magical Wedding

Emma and Lewis got engaged at The Magic Kingdom, and so, as Emma’s Dad said in his speech, it seemed fitting for them to get married at a castle, and Emma looked the true princess marrying her prince. What a beautiful wedding, filled with smiles and laughter and a touch of sparkle! It was an honour to be asked to shoot this wedding, Emma and Lewis hadn’t met us, they “fell in love with our friends weddings photos and you took them” We couldn’t have asked for a better compliment. Thank you. We arrived at Emma’s room to be greeted by a room full of beautifulView full post »
